Kaizenergy is Juan Matute‘s consulting and advisory practice.

kaɪˈzenəd͡ʒ ?

Kaizenergy a portmanteau of the Japanese word, “kaizen” (改善),  and the English word “energy”.  Kaizen means continuous improvement or change for the better – the idea being that an organization or community can continually improve its performance by focusing on certain process improvements.  Energy connotes the primary means by which today’s cities enjoy a high quality of life (e.g.: electricity, gasoline), but also the primary source of man-made greenhouse gas emissions.

The term Kaizen is key concept in MBA operations curricula and reflects the firm’s approach to integrating the principles of management, policy, and planning in our work.
